WHAT RYAN REYNOLDS SAID
In an Instagram story, Reynolds, who was surrounded by cameras while at work, captioned the footage: "Watching the Wrexham game at work: new level unlocked."
The Deadpool star added background music of 'Heaven Is a Place on Earth', before also posting "Big win today. VERY big," in another musical clip.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The result means Wrexham stay second in League Two and now they have a five-point cushion over fourth-placed MK Dons with three games remaining. Phil Parkinson's men are tantalisingly close to getting promoted to League One, which would secure a second straight promotion after winning the National League last season.

WHAT NEXT?
Wrexham continue their march towards promotion when they host relegation-threatened Forest Green Rovers at the Racecourse on Saturday. A win for the Welsh outfit and anything less than a victory for MK Dons and Barrow, who play third-placed Mansfield Town and Gillingham respectively on the same day, will see Reynolds' team promoted.
